What's Up Wednesday (2/22/17)

I can't believe its already the last Wednesday of February!  This month went by so quickly, and it is time for What's Up Wednesday!

On the last Wednesday of every month I'm linking up with Shay to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...

I'm heading to Oklahoma City for work, so I plan to eat a nice Oklahoman steak while I'm out there.  This week we'll probably also be eating birthday cake, celebrating my Dad's birthday on Sunday.

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...
My baby's first birthday party!  Did you see the post about it from earlier this week?  Soon enough I know I'll be planning her second #timeslowdown

3.  What I'm loving...
I took Arianna to her first Mommy and Me yoga class this month.  It was a great way to stay active and incorporate her into something that I love.  Mom guilt is a struggle, and with this type of class, I can bring her with me and not feel so guilty!  Can't wait to do more yoga with her.

Also loving watching my babies grow!  Time flies when you're having fun!
Sports Day at school

Reading a story at Barnes and Noble

4.  What we've been up to...
This month we were busy celebrating a very special girl's first birthday.  We also spent time with my brother and his family that came to visit from Austin, TX.  We took the big kids to Hollywood Studios and Epcot and had a blast!  I love seeing these sweet cousins together!  I miss my brother, his wife and their family so much, can't wait until the next time we are together.

5.  What I'm dreading...

Last month I posted that I was dreading going to the dermatologist, well one of my biopsies from the dermatologist came back pre-cancerous, so now I have to go back for an excision.  An excision is where they go back to the biopsy site and take off more skin, to meet required margins, and make sure that all of those bad cells are gone.  Not looking forward to that, but glad we caught it before it actually turned cancerous.  With skin like mine (I got it from my dad) I can't stress the importance of having routine skin checks!

6.  What I'm working on...
Transitioning into a new role at work, so that's why I'm heading to Oklahoma City this week.  Looking forward to meeting my new team and starting to feel my feet under me again.  Trying to be patient and remind myself that starting a new job always takes a while to get ramped up and back in the groove of things.

7.  What I'm excited about...
Next weekend we are heading to a baby shower for Mike's cousin and his wife!  Can't wait to see that side of the family and shower them with love for their sweet baby girl joining the Florio clan this May.

8.  What I'm watching/reading...
Still watching The Bachelor!  #hometowndates

This month I finished reading (listening on Audible #truth) Cancel the Wedding.  I really enjoyed this book, the character development, and the happy ending.  I would suggest it to others, it is an easy and quick read.

9.  What I'm listening to...

Obsessed with Ed Sheeran's new song, Shape of You.  It is on repeat on my Spotify list.

10.  What I'm wearing...
'm not wearing them yet, but I can't wait to wear them soon!  I ordered these cute swimsuits from Cupshe a boutique shop that popped up on my Instagram account.  Thanks sponsored post for making me spend more money, but they are so cute and the black one was only $23.99!

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...

Running the Gasparilla 8k and celebrating my dad's birthday!  Also, squeezing on my babies since I know I'll be missing them like crazy when I'm gone for work this week.

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...

In March we celebrate my mom's birthday.  My aunt and uncle are also coming from Cincinnati for a visit, and I'm excited to see them at the end of the month.  We also got tickets to take the kids to Disney on Ice, so that will be fun!  Might even try to fit another trip to Disney in there before it gets too crazy for Spring Break.

13.  What else is new...

Mike was recognized at his broker's excellence event as a Century Club member and Rising Star within his organization.  I could not be more proud of him and his drive to make real estate a successful career for him.  It certainly is not easy, and there were a few times when he wanted to give up, but he didn't.  To see him recognized among his peers was amazing, and I truly am so proud!
