What's Up Wednesday (8/30/17)

It is the last Wednesday of the month, I leave for NYC today and my favorite month will be here in a few short days.  Here's a little look at what we've been up to this month.

On the last Wednesday of every month I'm linking up with Shay to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...
I leave for NYC for a girls weekend today!  Coming back early Saturday morning for the long weekend, but will be eating all of the yummy food while we're there :)

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...
Yesterday Vincent turned 4!! You can read more about it here.  Mike and I surprised him with a new bedroom set for his birthday.  He loved it!!  The last four years have changed my life for the better, and I am so thankful to be his momma!

(Baby sister had to get in on the fun too!)

Two weeks ago he started VPK, and it truly was bittersweet, but I made it through.  I know Kindergarten will be so much harder on my mommy heart!

3.  What I'm loving...
This weekend we celebrated Vincent's 4th Birthday with his friends from school.  I am loving that the Ninja Turtles is still cool, and how much he loved his birthday.  This morning he told us again that he wants to have the "exact same party next year!" Lol - Mike and I know, he will probably change his mind a few times before then, but it makes us feel good that he had so much fun.

4.  What we've been up to...
I started this month in New Orleans, hello Beignets and Cafe Dumonde!

Then we celebrated Vincent's BFF's Birthday at Chuck E' Cheese - Happy 4th Birthday Mia!

We have been swimming...

Doing our morning routines...

and getting ready for football!

Every year we head to Orlando for our cousin's annual Labor Day fantasy football draft, but this year it was re-scheduled due to the FSU vs. Alabama game.  With the smaller kids, we like to stay in a hotel so that we don't burden anyone with our crazy toddlers!  Mike found an awesome hotel right near Disney Springs and we were looking forward to our trip.  Mike's uncle came down with a really bad infection and was hospitalized, canceling the weekend.  We decided to still make the trip and spend one night at the hotel with the kids and make it a little weekend away.  I'm so glad that we did.  The kids had a blast!  Vincent is truly swimming amazing after his lessons this summer, and their pool was the perfect place to practice.  It is so refreshing what 24 hours away with your family will do for your soul!

5.  What I'm dreading...
Right now, there's nothing that I'm dreading.  The busy months are behind us, and I'm just looking forward to fall fun with the family!

6.  What I'm working on...
Not working on anything right now.  A few weeks back, we celebrated my BFFs soon-to-be baby boy Archer Jasper with a "Little Man" themed shower.  All of the details came out perfect, and it was the best day celebrating the beautiful mommy-to-be.

7.  What I'm excited about...
My girls trip to NYC for the US Open this weekend.  Have any of you ever been? Any must-sees, must-eats, must-dos?

8.  What I'm watching/reading...
#Bigbrotheraddict

9.  What I'm listening to...
Still swooning over Sam Hunt!! I am so glad we went to see him in concert this summer.

Yep...I am still enjoying listening to the weekly "Yoga Girl"  podcasts - have you checked them out yet?

10.  What I'm wearing...
It's going to be in the 50s in New York this weekend, so I'll be wearing a sweater or jacket I'm sure!

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...
Watching Florida State vs. Alabama!! Hello College Football Season!!

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...
In September we celebrate mine and my baby brother's birthday, so I'm looking forward to that and all things fall!  We will also hopefully celebrate a new family member's birthday.  Archer will be here this month, I'm sure of it :)

13.  What else is new...
This month we also celebrated Arianna's half birthday!! Half birthday's are a big deal in the Florio house, and the last 18 months have been anything but dull with this baby girl.  She completes our family and I couldn't love her more!
