Wha'ts Up Wednesday (3/28/18)

The end of March is here, and we'll celebrate Easter this weekend!  March has been a busy month, no wonder it went by so quickly!  Here's a little look at what we've been up to this month...

On the last Wednesday of the month I link-up with Shay to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...
I've found a new favorite, Weight Watcher approved lunch, and I've been eating it every day.  It is sooo easy!! I've listed the ingredients below, the best part is that it is 0 points!

1) Chicken Breast (or cutlets)
2) Can of reduced sodium black beans
3) Can of Rotel
4) Can of white corn

Cook on low for about 4 hours, pull chicken and serve!!

I have eaten it a few ways.  On salads, by itself, on tortillas or made broth and added it to that to make a soup.  So, so good!

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...
We had so much fun on Spring Break, I'm ready to go back and do it all over again!  We never have kept the kids out of school for a full week, and decided that Spring Break would be a great week for it.  We spent a few days in Orlando with our friends and had a great time making fun memories.

So thankful for this friend!

Yes, Arianna - yes!! lol, this is how you make me feel sometimes

Kids first time put-put golf

Vincent got his first hole-in-one

The weather was crazy! In one day, we were bundled up going golfing, and then heading to the pool later in the day.  I love the picture above because it was the kids first time back in the pool this season.  Mia and Arianna were having fun on the slides and floating, and Vincent was so excited to be back in the water, he was running all over (that's him running away).

One of the best parts of our trip, was our hotel.  Thanks to Mariseli for finding the perfect spot for our getaway.  I would highly recommend Marriott Harbour Lake to anyone staying in the Orlando area.  It's close to Disney, but not on site.  There are tons of family-friendly activities at the hotel to take advantage of.  We only went to Epcot one day, and preferred staying back and just relaxing at the hotel.

3.  What I'm loving...
This new Stila eyeliner I got from the ULTA sale last weekend.  It goes on very smooth and precise, when I use eyeliner, its usually liquid.

4.  What we've been up to...
March is my mom's birthday month.  Her and I had the best day celebrating her birthday.  We started with a beautiful yoga session and then brunch and shopping in Hyde Park.  The kids and I made her a cake, so after we came back to the house so that they could sing for her.  Happy Birthday Mom!!

We started soccer at the end of February and three weeks of swim lessons last week, so Vincent's extra activities have been keeping us busy.

(good baby sister having fun at soccer)

(Because taking lessons with your BFF makes it super fun!)

5.  What I'm dreading...
Right now I'm not really dreading anything, so that's good!

6.  What I'm working on...
Still working on my new year's goals.  We're 3 months in, and I'm still working on being more PATIENT.

7.  What I'm excited about...
I'm excited to see my brother and his family!  They are coming to visit in May, we haven't seen them since last February - way too long!  Can't wait!

8.  What I'm watching/reading...
FINALLY finished reading "Delicious", the end of the book definitely brought me in.  I'm not sure if I would recommend it, since it took me so long to get through, but it was ok.

I am still reading through The One Year Bible...

I am totally loving American Idol this season!  The combination of Katie, Luke and Lionel in addition to all of the talent has me wrapped into the season already.

9.  What I'm listening to...
Arianna talking!  She has started talking so much over the last few weeks.  Singing, asking "why Mommy?" and just surprising me every day with her new words!

10.  What I'm wearing...
I got a few new things this month that I am loving!

This BP tee was only $15 and so comfy and fits great

This knit maxi is so comfy and flattering, you need it!

(Here's a picture of me in the dress during Spring Break)

March was unseasonable cold here in Florida, so we are looking forward to more time in the pool, swimsuits and our shorts in April.

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...
Coloring Easter eggs and celebrating the resurrection with my family.  Look at these pics from last year, one of my favorite traditions with my kids!  They have grown so much! ugh, breaks my little momma heart

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...
Next month we are going back to Disney for the Star Wars run weekend and I hope to be spending way more time outside.

13.  What else is new...
Yesterday Arianna got diagnosed with strep throat!! I've sprayed lysol all over my entire house, and could use some prayers that no one else gets it.  Because you know when your'e a mom, and you get sick, you don't really get a sick day!

This month Arianna had RSV, Vincent had a bad sinus infection, and now we're fighting strep!  I'm ready for cold and flu season to be over and all of the sicknesses to be gone!

How We - Mom Fail and Live to Discuss

Happy Wednesday everyone!!  Today I'm linking up with  up with Mix and Match Mamma and A Little Bit of Everything to share "how we" mom fail...and live to discuss!

Here's the schedule for the rest of the year, if you want to join in too!

You can see my January post here
You can see my February post here

Being a mom is the most rewarding, and at the same time, hardest job I'll ever have.  I am so lucky to be a mom to my sweet Arianna and Vincent, and wouldn't change it for the world.  I definitely have moments where I "mom fail" and I think that's ok.  We learn and we live, and we will always be their moms, the people they look up to, and the people that love them the most.

Below are some of my frequent mom-fails,  I'm sure there are many more :) Every day I strive to be a better mom for my kiddos. Also, I love this quote from Kristen Bell!

1. Self Care
I'm re-sharing of of my favorite thing's from last month's post.  This image on ways to focus on self-care.  I often put my family needs before my own, but to be the best mom I can be, I need to focus on a little self-care as well.

2. Forgetting Important Things
Mom brain is a real thing you guys!  Some days I forget diapers that the daycare needed, some days I forget to give allergy medicine to my son, some days I barely make it out the door with forgetting everything important that I need for the day.  #thestruggleisreal

3. Scheduler
Sometimes I can be too strict with my kids schedules.  I have found that they really do much better when they have a set nap, sleep schedule, but over the years I've found that it's ok to be a little bit flexible with the schedule every now and then as well.  It's hard for me, definitely something I have to talk myself into, but something I want to get better at.

These kids are my WORLD, and I am so blessed to be their momma!!

Today I am WINNING as a mom, we are heading to Orlando for SPRING BREAK!! The kids are excited, we are excited, and a much needed vacation is on our agenda for the next few days.
