How We - Fall!

Happy Wednesday everyone!!  I missed last week's link-up with Mix and Match Mamma and A Little Bit of Everything because it was my BIRTHDAY, but I couldn't miss this month's "How We" post, because it is all about FALL!   Fall is my favorite season, I even dedicated a whole post to my favorite time of the year when I first started this blog.

I've been linking up on Wednesdays' this year to share how we...

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year.  There are so many fun activities to do together as a family, as well as two of my favorite holidays.  Not to mention the start of football season.  The Florio's do "Fall" big every year, and I'm can't wait to see what this year has in store for our little family of four.  Thanks for reading today as I share "how we" do fall!

1.  September is my birthday month...
I love that my birthday is in September! I am a true virgo, through and through.  I love that it's an excuse to get together with friends to celebrate.  This year we played it low-key, since we had TBall on my birthday night and went out to dinner with family.  Mike and I celebrated at Charley's on Saturday night with a date night, thanks to my parents!

Here are a few pics from some of my favorite birthday celebrations...

2.  Football...
I love the sport, always have, always will.  Every year I try to go to at least one Seminoles game and we love taking the kids to the Bucs training camp.  At least so far this year one of my teams is playing well...

This year I took Vincent to his first FSU game in Tallahassee, it was a night I will remember forever! We almost lost, but the Noles came through with a victory.

The first year that Vincent was born, they went undefeated and won the National Championship! I always say that he was their good luck charm that year, and I will always regret not making the trip to the Rose Bowl for that game...but I had a 3 month old, and just couldn't do it.  Looks like it will be a while before we back in competition for that type of game...

3.  Fall Festivals...
I love a good fall festival!

4.  Pumpkin Patches...
One of my absolute favorite traditions is taking the kids to the pumpkin patch.  The only thing about seeing these pictures now is how sad it makes me that they are so big!

5.  Halloween Jammies...
Is there anything better than Halloween pajamas?! I don't think so!

6.  Running season...
The fall marks the official beginning season of running season for me.  It's time to sign up for 5Ks and the weather is finally reasonable enough to train for them.  One of my favorite runs every year is The Great Westchase.  We don't have to travel for the run, and can literally walk down the street to participate.  I will miss it this year for my yoga retreat, but Mike and the kids will be there.

7.  Halloween...
One of my favorite holidays, and it's so much fun with young kids.  I love watching them dress up and have a blast! Our neighborhood does it big, with a meet up before everyone hits up the houses, love where we live!

8.  Thanksgiving...
Time to reflect and find gratitude for all of our blessings in this year.  Nothing better than spending it with your family and loved ones.

A new activity for us this fall, is TBall season.  Vincent started his TBall league in September and is loving it, I just wish it would cool down a bit for us!

How do you do fall? Are there any fun events or traditions that we are missing?

XO

Shari
