What's Up Wednesday (12/3/19)

Happy December! I missed the link-up for November, because we were out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday. I still love this blog post and wanted to update you on all of the fun things we did last month.  Check out everything we did this November!

On the last Wednesday of the month I link-up with Shay and Sheaffer to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...

I made my mom's turkey bone soup recipe with the Thanksgiving leftovers.  I have been eating it literally every day!

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...
Halloween!  When I posted October's What's Up Wednesday, we were anticipating a fun Halloween, and that it was!

We started out with a book parade at Vincent's school, and the annual Halloween parade at Arianna's school...

After school we got ready for fun trick-or-treating in our neighborhood.  This year both kids picked out their costumes.  We had the cutest little Rubble from Paw Patrol and Mario...

3.  What I'm loving...
Let me just say, Amazon! This year, almost all of my shopping is complete and I barely went into any stores.  I think with our busy schedules I have converted to an online shopper.

4.  What we've been up to...
Finding our own style!  There is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful that God blessed me with a daughter...

Mike and I ran the Disney Food and Wine 10k.  This is the face you make when you get on a charter bus at 4am to go run a race...

I took a trip to Oklahoma City for work, and made it to a Thunder game.  That night they had a tribute for the bombing victims, in anticipation of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the bombing of the Federal building there.  It was humbling to see the family members stand in their honor to say the least...

We finished off a fun fall season of baseball!  It is so fun to see Vincent grow at something he loves...

On Veteran's Day, me and Mariseli took the crazy kids to Magic Kingdom and Epcot! We must be nuts, but we love making memories with these faces...

I hit 100,000 miles in my car!  I love my car so much, I hope she runs forever....

Our pup Roxy celebrated her 10th birthday...

We participated in fun Thanksgiving celebrations at the kids schools...

I volunteered for the Great American Teach-In at Vincent's school and taught he and his friends about yoga...

We went to a fun birthday party...

We celebrated Thanksgiving in South Florida with Mike's family and started the day off with the Tamarac Turkey Trot...

I love that she wanted to help me this year...

One of the highlights of the day was seeing my cousin and her daughter from Cincinnati! I am so glad they were able to come share the day with us...

We went to see Frozen 2 and it did not disappoint. I want to go see it again...

5.  What I'm dreading...
Taking down all of the holiday decorations.  I love having the house decorated, but hate taking everything back down and putting it away.

6.  What I'm working on...
Last month of the Last 90 Days challenge is here.  I have stayed committed to the promise I made to myself to finish out this year stronger than I started it!  You can read more about this challenge here.

7.  What I'm excited about...
Taking the kids to see Santa and enjoying all of our holiday plans.

8.  What I'm watching/reading...
I finished reading Evvie Drake Starts Over, for our Book Club last month.  It was a cute book, with a surprise for me story about baseball and new starts.  It was an easy read and I would recommend it.

I also started reading a book my husband recommended, Living With Seal.  It inspires you to push to your limits and that your brain limits you to what you think your body is capable of.  I am breezing through this funny book.

9.  What I'm listening to...
Christmas music!

10.  What I'm wearing...
When you look at my laundry, you basically see leggings and underwear.  I have been living in leggings.

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...
Friday night is my annual Dixie Chicks gift exchange with my best girls.  I look forward to this night all year long.  You can read about one of my favorite holiday traditions here.  Last year we went fancy and celebrated at a Tampa classic, Berns.  This year we're taking it to the beach!

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...
All of the holiday traditions with my family and friends.  Seeing the lights, cookie parties, watching the movies and most importantly celebrating the true meaning of Christmas!

13.  What else is new...
We survived our first camping trip as a family.  On Veteran's Day Weekend we joined Vincent's Cub Scouts for an overnight stay at a local campground.  Mike made sure we had everything we needed and the kids had a blast! I was so worried leading up to the trip how it would go, but now we're looking forward to going again in February.

Happy December friends, thanks for following along with me!

XO

Shari
