What's Up Wednesday (2/26/20)

February flew by!! Today we celebrate my Dad's birthday, so let me start this post by wishing him a very Happy Birthday and the best day ever!  I'm so grateful to still have my Dad in my life at my age, and I cherish every day and memory that we are able to make together.

Here's a look at what we've been up to this month!

On the last Wednesday of the month I link-up with Shay and Sheaffer to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...

On Sunday we went to Meat Market Tampa for date night with our neighbors.  It was a great night out catching up, we are so lucky to live next to amazing people.  The food was ok, I wasn't thrilled about the meal, but the company made up for it!

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...
This month my baby girl turned 4!! This picture captures her entire personality fully!

Time seriously flies by!

Four years of having a daughter and being a girl mom!  It's hard to remember a time when we just had our little man.  We celebrated her birthday with family on her actual birthday, after she had been feeling sick for most of the week.  She opened up her Barbie Dream House in the morning and went for a bike ride in the afternoon, it really ended up being a great day for her.

We celebrated with a "Disney Descendants gymnastics party" the following Sunday with friends from school.  She had so much fun, and I know she knew how much she was loved.

3.  What I'm loving...
Florida Fresh Strawberries!  Vincent had a fundraiser for school, and these came directly from a local farm, they are delicious!!

4.  What we've been up to...
Basketball...

Arianna moved up to level 7 in swim lessons...

We went through a week where Arianna missed 3 days of school due to a crazy high fever and virus...

Vincent lost his front tooth...I still am not used to this new smile...

Vincent had a cub scout camping trip planned, but due to us all being sick, we didn't have the energy to sleep outside in the cold.  So instead, he and I spent the whole day and didn't really miss out on any of the activities...

Gymnastics...

Valentines Day at school...

Mike and I completed the Disney Princess 10k, and had some fun at the parks the day before (it was cold!)...

Spring baseball season started, and Vincent did amazing during his first game...

5.  What I'm dreading...
Florida pollen is the worst! It's already started and I know that the next few weeks will be even heavier.  My poor boy has some serious seasonal allergies, and I wish there was some relief I could give him.  Any suggestions?

6.  What I'm working on...
This week I'm getting all of the things together to shower my bestie this weekend!

7.  What I'm excited about...
Counting down the days to spring break and some much needed time off with my family!

8.  What I'm watching/reading...
This is Us...

I just finished Cheer on Netflix, did anyone else love it as much as I did?

I started reading An Anonymous Girl, about a girl who signed up for a psychological study and the details of the study.  I am enjoying it so far.

I also fished reading The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren.  I highly recommend this book, it has changed the way I think about my connection with God.  I feel like I will read this book again some day.

9.  What I'm listening to...
Not ashamed to admit it, but I love Justin Bieber's new album!  I have always liked him, but felt like his recent behavior made me like him a little less.  Now I like him a little more!

10.  What I'm wearing...
I got this Free People Kimono for our upcoming cruise, but also paired it with jeans and a black tank for Arianna's party.  I got so many compliments and love it already.

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...
This weekend we have baseball, dance, basketball and then we are celebrating my Dad's birthday.  On Sunday, I am throwing my bestie a baby shower to celebrate her new baby girl on the way!  I can't wait!

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...
Spring Break!

13.  What else is new...
That's it for now, I hope you all have had a great February and that warmer weather is on the way!

XO

Shari
