What's Up Wednesday (2/24/21)

February flew by, what a month!  We had a lot of good memories this month, and my family in Texas also went through a lot.   My brother and his family live in Austin, TX and definitely felt the effects of last week's winter storm.  My thoughts and prayers are with those impacted in Texas and the surrounding areas.  It's the last Wednesday of the month, and here's a look at what we've been up to!

On the last Wednesday of the month I link-up with Shay and Sheaffer to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...
After a few weeks of eating whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, we are back on it and trying to eat clean!

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...

We spent all month celebrating our birthday girl!  We started the day with a unicorn waffle and surprise sign outside of our house!

We planned a small celebration with some of her school friends at our community pool so that we could celebrate safely a few weeks after her actual birthday.  She loved having her friends over and doing activities with them.  The highlight of the party was when the Kona truck came for a special treat for everyone.  

3.  What I'm loving...

We got Roxy's haircut and I am loving how cute my baby girl is!

4.  What we've been up to...

Finishing out the winter soccer season for Arianna!  We have had some cold nights at the field...

Hosting the Super Bowl in our town was so exciting! We were able to get tickets to go to the Super Bowl experience and we had a great time celebrating with the kids!

Vincent's flag football team finished out their winter season, and they were named league champions for grades K-2, how exciting!

Mike and I snuck away for a night for my cousin's wedding.  It was nice to get dressed up and spend time with y parents...

5.  What I'm dreading...

The Florida pollen is out, and spring is on the way! I always dread allergy season in Florida and spend a few weeks of the year when everything is in bloom with a sever sinus headache.  

6.  What I'm working on...

For lent, I gave up social media past 8pm.  It is interesting how habitual those programs are.  I have enjoyed doing something else with my time each night.  

7.  What I'm excited about...

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl!! WHAT?! It is still surreal to me that we won and are the reigning NFL champions! I love my BUCS!

8.  What I'm watching/reading...

I am currently watching This Is Us and American Idol, love these shows!

9.  What I'm listening to...

I want to start listening to more podcasts, do you have any good suggestions?

10.  What I'm wearing...

I got this dress last minute from Nordstrom Rack and I loved it!  I spent a week or more going back and forth amongst all of the dresses I had at home for my cousin's wedding.  Along with it being super comfortable, I got so many compliments on it.  

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...

This weekend we are celebrating my Dad!  He has a birthday this Friday, I hope you will join me in wishing him a very Happy Birthday!

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...

Spring Break!  We could definitely use a little break from school and our regular routine.  I think a few days away with the family will be great!

13.  What else is new...

I still can't believe my baby is 5 and growing up right in front of my eyes.  She makes my dreams come true.  Her and her brother bring to life all of the ideas I had for my family growing up.  I am so proud to be her mommy and I could not love her any more.
