It's the last Wednesday of July! We truly have had a pretty lazy and normal summer, and I can't believe school starts in less than two weeks. I am looking forward to fall, my favorite season, but also sad to say goodbye to Summer 2021. In today's post, take a look at what we've been up to this month.
2. What I'm reminiscing about...
3. What I'm loving...
Living in Champa Bay! The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup this month, back to back wins for our hometown hockey team!
5. What I'm dreading...
Kindergarten is in 13 days!! My baby is so grown up, I am not ok!
6. What I'm working on...
I am participating in a 25 Burpees a Day Challenge for the month of July. I am raising money for breast cancer, Susan G. Komen, for our beautiful cousin who recently beat the disease. It has not been easy at all. Here we are, 29 days in, and I still have not completed 25 burpees in a row. By the end of the challenge, I will have completed 775 Burpees!
7. What I'm excited about...
This week we paid our last daycare bill EVER! We were able to get our daughter into the county recreation center for after school care for the upcoming school year. It is certainly bittersweet, as we have been trusting our daycare to take care of our babies for almost 8 years, but it's also the end of an era, and we'll have more money to put into savings. There were definitely times when I thought we may never get here, but here we are!
8. What I'm watching/reading...
I love watching the Olympics and rooting for the USA!
I finished "Live Your Life" written by Amanda Kloots and her sister Anna, faster than I have read any book in a long time. The story is so raw, and so relatable to anyone that made it through 2020, I highly recommend this book for the story that she tells about how COVID forever changed the dynamics for her family. 9. What I'm listening to...
13. What else is new...
That's it for now, August is going to be a busy month!
