What's Up Wednesday (4/24/19)

Happy end of April!  We had an amazing Easter and a busy month.  I'm excited to share all of the highlights with you in today's link-up.

On the last Wednesday of the month I link-up with Shay and Sheaffer to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...

Nothing exciting, back to the grind after traveling :)

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...
An amazing Easter weekend in Cincinnati with my family!  We finally made it for the 62nd Annual Schnell Easter Egg Hunt, and I was worried my kids would not want to come home. They had so much fun playing with their second cousins and getting spoiled by their Great Aunt and Uncle.  I think I literally took hundreds of pictures, but here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip!
We flew into Indianapolis early on Good Friday - new state checked off the list!

We got to celebrate Kingsten and Keegan's birthday at a bounce house park!

Wild turkeys in my family's yard

Adult's night out!

My love!

My uncle has a putting green in his backyard!

Vincent lost his very first tooth on Easter Sunday!

3.  What I'm loving...
We cleaned up our yard and I swapped out the plant in this huge pot I have with some succulents.  I love looking at them, and so far I haven't killed them!

4.  What we've been up to...
Besides spending time with our family, we've had a busy April!  As the weather warms up, it seems like we've been spending more and more time outside.  Here's a look at what we've been doing this month...

Baseball...

Spring season yoga workshop at the most beautiful location on the water...

Took my babes to the beach...

Disney on a random Monday off from school...

Supporting my friends daughter at her college softball game.  The kids loved catching all of the foul balls...

Our annual tradition of coloring Easter eggs...

Volunteering with this Kindergartner...

...and more baseball!

5.  What I'm dreading...
The weather in Florida is perfect right now, and really we can't complain most of the time, but I am dreading the summer months full of 100% humidity and hotter temperatures that make you want to stay inside.

6.  What I'm working on...
I only got one post up in April (you're reading it), so in May I am going to work on more posts for the blog!

7.  What I'm excited about...
As much as I love baseball for Vincent, I'm excited that the end of the season is this weekend, which will slow down our schedule a bit and make for more relaxing time with the family.  I'm also excited for Arianna's first dance recital next month!

8.  What I'm watching/reading...
Two book club books for the win this month!
The Shortest Way Home is a cute easy read that centers around the main character giving up her NYC lifestyle to work at a winery in California.  This book makes me want to go to Sonoma ASAP!

Regardless of your political affiliation, Becoming, taught me more about our former First Lady and I loved her story-telling writing style.

I would recommend reading both of these books!

9.  What I'm listening to...
Arianna and Vincent switch between requesting their favorite songs in the car.  Arianna's current favorite is "Sucker" by the Jonas Brothers and "Meet Me in the Middle"by Zedd and Maren Morris.  Vincent is still on "Sunflower" from the Spiderman movie.

10.  What I'm wearing...
I am still wearing this jacket from Old Navy, I talked about last month.  I definitely have gotten my money's worth out of it!  I wore it on the airplane over a maxi dress, and all day on Easter!

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...
Dance, last baseball game of the season, Busch Gardens Food and Wine with friends, and swimming lessons! It's going to be a fun one.

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...
Vincent's end of Kindergarten show at his school and celebrating 7 years of marriage!

13.  What else is new...
I finally got Arianna to take a picture with the Easter Bunny this year.  A little bribery works!

I broke my nose!! Yep, trying to do a handstand, fell right on my face! The good news is that the ENT doesn't think I need surgery, but I still have some deviation in my septum that she's unsure if it existed before the incident or not.  I have a follow up with her in a few weeks to see if the swelling going away shows anything else.

XO
