What's Up Wednesday (3/31/21)

Today is the last day of March 2021! How did that happen?  It definitely feels like spring, and some days summer, here in Tampa.  We had some quality time together as a family this month during spring break, and I am counting down the days until the end of this school year.  Today,  it's the last Wednesday of the month, and here's a look at what we've been up to!

On the last Wednesday of the month I link-up with Shay and Sheaffer to answer these questions:

1.  What we're eating this week...

Ham on Easter and finally going on a date night today with my #1.  My daughter and I are going to attempt to make one of these fun Easter cakes for dessert, have you ever made one?

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...
We had such a fun spring break with the kids! We needed a few days away, and the Hilton Bonnett Creek in Orlando provided a fun place to do just that! We did not have to leave the resort our entire trip there, but ended up heading off property for the last night of our vacation.

3.  What I'm loving...
Now that my kids are getting older, I am finding 1:1 time is harder to get with them.  This month, I decided that me and Vincent needed a date night! I let him pick the place, and we went out to dinner.  We talked about school and how we want to finish out this year, and it was amazing! This is definitely something that I want to do more of going forward, and Arianna is already asking me when it is her turn.

4.  What we've been up to...
We have slowly been dipping our feet into life in 2021.  With my vaccination complete back in January, and cases continuing to drop, I definitely feel safer than I did before vaccination.  This month we added some activities that we haven't done in a while, and it felt good!

We went shopping with friends...

Vincent and his winter flag football team made it to the state tournament...the day after the time changed! It was an early morning and a long day...

Celebrated St. Patricks Day with these goofballs...

We also took the kids to their first NBA game! It was a blast, and I honestly did not think Arianna would hang in there and enjoy it, but she loved it!  My husband's favorite team is the Suns, and the Raptors are currently using Tampa as their home facility since they are not allowed to travel back and forth across the border.  It was a great Friday family activity...

5.  What I'm dreading...
This month, I finally registered my baby for Kindergarten! I love watching her grow more than anything in this world, but I am dreading that day that I drop her off at big-girl school with her brother, I know I will be emotional!

6.  What I'm working on...
I'm not working on it still, but this month I pulled off a huge surprise for my best friend! We were able to get a small group of our friends together to celebrate her little boy, making his entrance into the world this May.  It was so fun and definitely amazing to get to see all of my girls again.  I am so excited for my bestie to become a mommy again, and I can't wait to see her sweet family all together very soon.

7.  What I'm excited about...
I am planning another Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra workshop at my yoga studio, and I am looking forward to it.  I get almost as many benefits from facilitating it as I do from receiving this type of meditation.  Can't wait to share this practice with all of the new yoga teacher training students at Kinetic Soul.

8.  What I'm watching/reading...
Still This Is Us and American Idol, the breaks on This Is Us are a little frustrating, but i guess they had COVID production delays...

9.  What I'm listening to...
The new Justin Bieber! I just can't quit him y'all, and his new album is so good!!

10.  What I'm wearing...
I can not quit these Target tanks!  I purchased two last year, and got myself a new light purple one this weekend.  For $5, it really can't be beaten.  The quality is great and they are so easy to put together outfits, you need to get yourself some!

I also have been looking for a new pair of black denim shorts, and I found the perfect pair at Nordstrom.  They are so soft and fit amazing, I will be living in these this summer.

Tank, shorts add some flip flops and the perfect spring outfit was made :)

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...
Celebrating Easter with our family.

12.  What I'm looking forward to next month...
In April Arianna starts soccer again and Vincent starts flag football again, so we will be busy taking them to and from their activities.  Seeing my kids have fun in organized sports, is something that I look forward to.

13.  What else is new...
That's it for now.  I pray you all are safe and have an amazing last day of this month!

XO
