Vincent is 6!

Happy happy birthday to my little man!! SIX years ago today, my sweet boy made me a mommy.  

Six is big! He started first grade a few weeks ago, we're in the 3rd week.  He's starting to not want to hug me in front of others, and really turning into a little man!  

Here we are on his 4th birthday two years ago, doing Jedi Training Academy, and today the new Star Wars area opens up at Hollywood Studios!

This honestly feels like yesterday.  Over the weekend we celebrated with a handful of his friends, and had a jumping good time at Altitudes.  

In tradition, today's post is dedicated to some of my favorite moments with my son over the last year.

I mean, I just love him so much! It's amazing to me how much they grow in just ONE YEAR!

Last year I shared a post all about him turning 5.  I can't believe we are already here again at his birthday.  I am so blessed to be his momma.  

In tradition, I asked him a few questions to remember some of his favorite things at this age:

What's Up Wednesday (8/28/19)

My favorite month is right around the corner, and August has almost come to an end.  Check out everything we've been up to this month!

1.  What we're eating this week...
Birthday cake!

2.  What I'm reminiscing about...

Tomorrow my baby turns 6! I'm excited for him, but I can't believe another year has already passed!  The days are long, but the years are short!

We had a small party this weekend to celebrate, and he had the best time! I don't think he sat down for more than 5 minutes the whole party.  I love his energy and the fun that he has with his friends.  

3.  What I'm loving...
My new Nespresso! I don't know why I waited so long to get this you all, but I'm obsessed!  We needed to replace our old Keurig, and this was the perfect replacement.  

4.  What we've been up to...
We started the month by celebrating one of our favorite girl's birthdays...

I took a day off of work and spent it at the beach with my family...

We spent the last night of summer at our favorite ice cream spot...

All of the rain we've been having is bringing some amazing rainbows...

Hosted an amazing yoga nidra workshop at my yoga studio...

Arianna is back at dance...

We celebrated some of our friend's birthday's with a ladies night out...

 

We took the kids to the Rays game and had the best time...

Had a good visit at the dentist....

Picnic dinner at our pool, soaking in every last minute of summer... 

5.  What I'm dreading...

There's a hurricane heading towards Florida, and it's trying to ruin our Labor Day plans.  I am dreading an active hurricane season.  

6.  What I'm working on...
Getting our family back into the school schedule, waking up AND going to bed earlier, and juggling all of the things!

7.  What I'm excited about...

Mike finally purchased a new car this month, and I'm so excited for him!

8.  What I'm watching/reading...

I finished reading There's Something in the Water, and hit might be my favorite book of the year!  I could have never done half of the things that the lead character in this book did, but it kept me right there until the very end.  

I am also still reading On Being Human, by Jennifer Pastiloff, and I am loving the messages in this book!

9.  What I'm listening to...
Rachel Hollis and her husband's morning show has started again this week, and now it's a podcast too! I love hearing their inspirational messages to start my day!

10.  What I'm wearing...
Loving my new jumsuit and romper from Nordstrom, I got so many compliments on them both!

11.  What I'm doing this weekend...
Our annual cousins trip in Orlando is happening, and we are so excited! We're also headed over to Magic Kingdom on Monday to celebrate our passes being out of black-out!

Football and celebrating birthdays!

13.  What else is new...
Vincent is in 1st grade now!  We started school on August 12th.  Arianna also moved up to a new class, the year before VPK.  It was a big day for all of us, and we're happy to be getting back into a routine...
