Lets Look - My Typical Day

Happy Wednesday everyone!  We have been living up the summer, and super busy, which is why I have been absent from the blog.  Today I make my return with a favorite link-up, and show you what my typical day looks like!

Every month I'll be linking up with Mix and Match Mama and A Little Bit of Everything to bring you a fun look at things in my life!

It would be fun for you to join in too, here are the topics for this year...

I like to start my day with a workout.  I get up before the rest of the family to get it in.  I feel like my days are more productive, and I burn more calories throughout the day, if I get it done early.  Yesterday I started the day with a 2 and a 1/4 mile run.  It's Florida, and HOT, so the only time to run is early in the morning!

Today, I went to one of my favorite places, Pure Barre, for a killer 50 minute Reform routine.  I try to get at least 30 minutes of movement in a day, because that's what I've found works for me.  Usually in the morning, if not during lunch.

I am lucky that I get to work from home most days.  So after I get the kids off to school and summer camp, I grab my coffee and get to work.

Working from home is amazing! I don't think I could ever go back to going into the office full-time.  I don't have to commute, get ready, can be in the comfort of my own home, and have this little side-kick keeping me company all day.  My little Roxy-Girl! She will be 10 this fall.

The absolute best part of my day is when I get to pick up my babies!  I love hearing about their days and talking to them about the things that they did.  They are growing up so quick, I know that this will be one of my favorite memories when they are older.

It's hard being a balancing being a mom and working.  I feel so lucky that I have a great place to send my kids, and added bonus, I get sent pictures like this of their days.  The only thing I hate about this pic is that my three-year-old looks like a teenager!

After we get home, because they are growing so quick, everyone is hungry or hangry! I get the kids dinner and figure out what Mike and I are going to eat.  Tonight I made meatless meatloaf with Beyond Beef ground meat substitute, and it actually came out pretty good.  Mike stopped eating meat about 4 years ago, so I naturally eat a lot less too. (This meatloaf definitely tasted a lot better than it looks!)

The summer nights are definitely more laid-back, with less activities.  On Monday Arianna goes to Gymnastics, and on Tuesday I teach yoga.  Soon enough we'll be back to baseball practice for Vincent.  So after we eat, we all relax, get cleaned up, and then call it a day!

Thanks for reading today! So grateful for this life :)

XO

Shari
